May 2020 – The ABPDU was established in 2012 to accelerate commercialization of renewable technologies that could strengthen the bioeconomy. Its partners have ranged from national laboratories and universities to startups and established companies, and many have gone on to set up their own labs or pilot plants and secure additional funding through their work with the ABPDU.
